{ the process } | before and after

Had a lazy Sunday today and started playing with some actions that I have never really used. I’ve discovered some real gems and just wanted to show one of the reasons why it might take a photographer awhile to get back to you with your finished pictures. The photo on the left is straight out of the camera, while the photo on the right is fully edited, and what the client would receive. This is just to show that a photographer has a lot of work ahead of them after the physical session is done! :)

{ the V family } | Orlando Family Photographer

A few weeks ago, I finally had the honor of photographing one of my favorite families! As I’ve mentioned a few times in this blog, This little girl you see in the first photo is very best friends with the girl I take care of. They’ve known each other since pre school, and while there’s typical six year old drama (She didn’t sit next to me at lunch!), you can tell that they’ve really got each others backs. I met my very best friend in second grade, so I know that these early bonds have a way of sticking with you. :) Anyhoo- here’s the long awaited photos of the beautiful V family, mom, dad, big sister, little sister, and grandma and grandpa too!

{ i heart faces } | weekly photo contest – innocent wonder

I_Heart_Faces_noborder_125x100.jpg

This weeks theme at i heart faces is “Innocent Wonder.” This was such a fun mini shoot I did with my favorite little girl. She had an absolute plast playing with the hose and using the umbrella to make the water fly everywhere. I find it inspiring how children find joy in the smallest of things. It should be every adults goal to just let loose and play in the sprinklers from time to time.
