There are so many stereotypes in the world, but I recently discovered one that was absolutely true of some recent clients. Canadians are REALLY, REALLY nice! I was fortunate enough to photograph the lovely Joan and Yair on a recent trip they took to Disney World and they are seriously two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They were both so friendly and sweet, I found myself hoping that more Canadians would decide to book me while vacationing in sunny Florida! If you doubt their sweetness, let me just share that as soon as we met, they gave me a gift- Maple Syrup and a box of Hello Kitty maple cookies. It was so incredibly thoughtful of them to bring me a little “taste” of their home! I loved hanging out with you guys and I hope you had a fabulous vacation, despite some rainy weather!

Just wanted to do a quick share about what’s been happening behind the scenes over the past four months here at A Million Sighs Photography. I am so thrilled to announce that my husband and I are expecting our first child this October! Just got a clean bill of health for both me and the baby last week, so I thought it was finally time to share why things have been on the quiet side lately. :)

On Friday afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing my very close friend Stephanie’s maternity photos. Her and her husband trusted me to photograph their wedding back in 2010 when I was still a super newbie photographer, and Stephanie has been in front of my camera several times since. Of course, this is the most special session because her and Joe are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks, little mister Joey. It was a very dreary day at Rotary Park in Cape Coral, but as always, we made the best out of the situation and walked away with some special photos to commemorate this new life. Congratulations! I can’t wait to meet the little guy!
