Orlando, Florida Wedding and Portrait Photographer
I absolutely love photographing high school seniors, and getting Miss Cassie in front of my lens was an extra treat! We chose downtown Fort Myers (my favorite!) as the backdrop of her senior session, and of course… OF COURSE, we had a super rainy evening. We ventured out anyway and managed to grab some fun shots. And we did end up having the most perfectly even and flattering light, so.. bonus! Unfortunately, we didn’t have a pretty sunset so we met up the next day at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral, where we were able to round out her senior photo shoot nicely. Cassie has such a delightful personality. She has her sights set on Florida State University, and get this… she wants to be an archaeologist! How cool is that?! I’m thinking we really missed out on some Indiana Jones-esque photos! And what’s a grandma to do when she’s watching a busy toddler while mom is on a photo shoot AND it’s raining? Put baby in the trunk, of course! Kudos to my mom for being imaginative. And thanks to all the kind strangers who saw and didn’t call the police! :P
This week I had the chance to photograph this sweet family at Shingle Creek Regional Park in Kissimmee. Before I get their blog post up, I just had to share my absolute favorite from this session. Little Miss, almost 3, gave me the absolute most perfect facial expression for this silly shot. I love, love, love it and hope she does too when she’s old enough to appreciate it’s hilarity! Victoria and Matt’s wedding this past November at the Lake Mary Events Center was such a breeze to shoot. They chose to do a first look AND do family formals BEFORE their 5pm ceremony. The day ran smoothly and every one was on time, so we had plenty of time for the first look, family shots, and bride and groom formals. With enough time to spare for every one to have a breather before the big moment. I can’t tell you how amazing this was, not only for me as a photographer, but also for the bride and groom. They were able to spend the entire cocktail hour with their guests. How great is that? They spend all this money to celebrate with their loved ones, and they actually got to enjoy every minute of it! I know doing the photos before the ceremony isn’t possible for most couples, but if you happen to have the opportunity, I highly suggest it! Victoria is a girl after my own heart and DIY’d all of the decor. It came together perfectly and made for a beautiful fall wedding. V & M, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your big day! The long absense on my blog does not mean I haven’t been behind the camera! My husband was able to fix something on the backend that was keeping me from blogging the way I normally do, so I am finally able to get back to it without getting super frustrated! Awhile back, I did a short but sweet session with Miss Paisley. She has been seen on the blog many times, and as always, it was a joy to photograph her! |
