Two weeks ago, I got together with Alexa for a mini senior session in Cape Coral at Four Mile Cove Eco Park. I have come to find that this location is only suitable in winter months (ala Jackie & Steven’s engagement session shoot in February) because insects rule the land in the summer. We got attacked (seriously! ATTACKED!) by deer fly. I had never heard of deer fly before, and I really, really hope to never encounter them again. They sting, followed by a burn, and two weeks of itchyness. It’s been 16 days, and I still have little red welts on my feet. Uck! Luckily we were able to tolerate them long enough to grab a few great shots of Alexa to commemorate her senior year. Enjoy!
