I have been waiting 7 months for this shoot to happen and I’m happy to report that yesterday I was finally able to shoot my friend Jess’ maternity session! Just like Ashley, I met Jess at a Full Sail Christmas party when she accompanied our friend Doug (a groomsman in our wedding!) to the shindig. We had an absolutely unforgettable night and every get together with the happy couple since then has been so much fun. Jess is so fun and perky and off the wall, so I knew from the beginning that this session was going to be FUN and different. I was requested to pick up the biggest, messiest cheeseburger I could get my hands on for the session, and that’s a perfect indication of how out of the box this couple is! She isn’t due until August 1st, but it looks like little Elwood could make his debut any day. With Jess on bedrest for the last week and doctors begging she really take it easy until Monday, when she hits 37 weeks, we decided to take it easy and opted for most of the shots indoors. We did have to sneak in a few outside too! Ah, Jess! I had so much fun with you yesterday! I can’t wait to meet the little guy and help document his first year with you guys!
