Excited doesn’t even begin to describe how happy I am to be sharing these pictures! A few months ago, Jen emailed me inquiring about a family session while they were on vacation to Disney World. Since that initial email, we have emailed back and forth several times, and I am learning that I love when my clients book me early! All these emails really help me get a feel for my clients before our shoot and make me feel right at home once our session finally arrives. Jen was my favorite kind of client because she had no problems telling me what kind of shots she was hoping for. I love the input! It helps that her family is laid back, fun, and completely adorable. The way they kid around with eachother kept us laughing the entire time. And oh my goodness.. the dress they picked out for little L!! If all my clients with little girls put their darlings in fluffy, ruffly, twirly little dresses, all would be right in the world! I’m telling you, I just couldn’t get enough! The very, single, most best thing about this session was that when it was over, we got to do it all over again… at the beach! So look forward to take 2 of this fabulous family!
We met up early at Disney’s Boardwalk. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, and Orlando for the past 7 years, and I had never once visited the Boardwalk. It was so completely adorable and I was really excited that this was the backdrop for our shoot.
This is my great friend Stephanie, who is absolutely going to hate me for posting this. She drove up for the weekend for some photography mentoring, and was roped in to waking up at 5am so we could make it out to Disney by 7ish. At this point, I don’t think she felt that anything she might learn from me would be worth it. Ha!
I love telling my clients to fake laugh at eachother. It always gets some fun results.
There’s quite a few shots to this series, because I think these kiddos are way too adorable and I just didn’t want to leave any of them out.
And that’s big brother giving her a noogie. Boy does that bring back memories of my own childhood!
By 8:30, the sun was pouring down on us and it was getting hot, hot, hot! By the end of our session, she was all tuckered out… or at least pretending to be! :)
